Oatmeal stout help

Why would there be butter in oatmeal stout? I have a had a number of oatmeal stouts and even with high percentages I don't get much oatmeal flavour.
 
lol! Ok, that's completely different :D

Can you fix it? You could boil some high AA hop in 2-3 cups of water then add the tincture/extract/whatevs to your stout. Obviously it'd thin down the beer a bit so the less water used the better in that respect.

I've done this just once in 15 years to take an insipid wheat beer up to something enjoyable, which didn't require much tincture. A stout could take a much stronger dose to move the needle appreciably...

I agree with Soulshine2... I don't think that you will be able to make this batch much better. I'd say to put your effort towards improving the recipe next time around.
