Hey y'all (did I get that right? I figured "yous guys" would be out of place in TX).

So Im in Arlington for work for the next week or so, and Im looking for micro/nano breweries to visit, with 30 min or so of here. Any suggestions? Also any local varieties I should try that I can find at a Whole Foods or something?

Rahr and Martin House breweries are in downtown ft Worth which should be within 30 mins. Not sure on tours but their websites will no doubt have details. Zio Carlo is a brewery restaurant just south of downtown. In the same neighborhood as Zio Carlos is Live Oak which has an incredible tap wall featuring many Texas brews.

Also check out Peticolas, Community, 4 Corners and Deep Ellum - all are in/very near to downtown Dallas. Great food and beer at Meddlesome Moth and Common Table nearby.
