Yeah, I harvested some Notty, but I think it mutated a little due to high ferment temps, because now it makes everything taste like an Old Ale.

Time for a fresh culture.
 
I can't see the point of washing yeast that costs $.89 You'll use that much gas/elec boiling and cooling the water to wash it in. not to mention the cost of canning it.

Still no Notty in nyc, though.
 
My LHBS is stocked up now. Bought a few packets of it, and just in time - my keg of Ed's Haus Pale just blew on Saturday!
