Hey all. I've done some posting here, but have gotten a LOT of great tips and tricks from lurking and searching, so thank you all in advance! Just thought I'd introduce myself.
I've been brewing for something like 7 or 8 years, but only infrequently. Started out with a 2-bucket kit my wife bought for me off eBay and a cheap 7 gallon stockpot. I have since upgraded to a 2-keggle and cooler setup. I recently upgraded from a 5- to a 10-gallon cooler with a much better bulkhead fitting I built into it.
I'm hoping to start brewing at least once a month, which is significantly more than I've brewed since I started. I've lately been putting some time and money into my home brewery setup, and am working hard on getting it where I want it.
My friends and I brew in the front yard, and have found it starts all manner of interesting conversation with the neighbors, and fun sharing of quality craft beer.
