I didn't exactly brew today but I did keg a batch and try an experiment with the leftover yeast and trub in the fermenter. After I was done transferring to kegs, I added 5 gallons of apple cider, 92 ounces of pineapple juice and 1 bottle of concentrated ginger. Smells awesome right now but time will tell. I have done this with plain cider and it worked well to make a dry cider. This time I added the pineapple and ginger hoping to make it a little sweeter and something like an alcoholic Reeds Ginger ale. We'll see...
