Northern VA, DC Metro Area Says Hello

Hey guys,
Just wanted to introduce myself. The names Nic, A very new beginner (I've never even tasted a home brew) from the Washington DC area. Just ordered what I think will be a good starter kit and a bunch of extras. I plan to do mostly Kegging (I already have the kegorator) with an occasional bottling session. I've been reading on the forum here for about 2 weeks preparing for the initial order and I just wanted to say a big Thank you to the posters and creators for providing me with tons of valuable information in my decisions.

Hope to be on here a lot more in the weeks, months and years to come.

I live in Mclean, not sure where you purchased your equipment, but the "MyLHBS" in 7 corners is a great. You should check them out.

I Live in the Chantilly, Fairfax area. I get out to falls church quite a bit. So I should be able to hit up the home brew store. Glad you told me about it. I was under the impression the only home brew store in the area was a part time gig in Clifton. Jays Home brew I think.

Ya, I have yet to be to Jays, a coworker has and got some good deals there ($10 bottle tree on clearance), and I had some friends a few years back get starter kits. There is also the flying barrel in frederick, but thats a bit of a hike from fairfax.
