whats up everyone, glad i found this forum because i have now- and will have many Q's down the road. im on my 3rd home brew, first 2 came out great aside from lack luster carbonation.. but i really enjoy brewing! been a huge beer head for about 7 years now- and always looking for new stuff. i actually work for Western NY's largest Beer distributor too, go figure.

anyways :mug: cheers!

Greetings and welcome to the obsession. How long did you leave those first 2 alone to carbonate? What were they?

My club is actually having the monthly social in Hamburg tomorrow (mammoser's)

I'm in the Elmwood Village.... How does one get an invite to this brew gathering?

Sultans of Swig is the club, consider yourselves invited. Most people show up between 7-7:30. This is the monthly social so we don't bring samples of our beer. The regular meeting are at Gene McCarthy's where we do bring samples of our beer for tasting/analysis. I probably won't get home before the get together tonight so I'll probably have on a short sleeve red checkered shirt, big guy with glasses.

Hey I am in Houston.....oh well I just really wanted to say welcome anyway.

Buffalobrewer- the first was a cream ale, i used a kit from Niagara trad. brewing, and i'm thinking I didnt use enough priming sugar per bottle. the flavor was great though. the second is a pils/lager also from NTB.. this came out better but still slightly short on the carbonation.
i live in hamburg right down the street from mammys- ill have to make it out sometime to a club meet. thanks for the welcomes guys!
