Got my starter kit as a birthday present from the significant other back in early November. I got started because of my affinity for beer. After buying six pack after six pack of micro-brews, I decided I wanted to improve them.

I've brewed an IPA and am currently fermenting a Weizenbock.

I've had a few questions answered by this forum during my first fermentation, decided this would be a great place to learn from some long-time brewers.

thanks...

Neither of my two beers so far have been kit beers.

I always seem to have a problem cooling down my wort though. I usually boil at night, then by morning time it's just barely ready for pitching. by that time I feel like all of the oxygen that I managed to get into the wort by pouring it out has had time to sift it's way out.

Maybe I should just get a wort cooler, but I haven't gotten into all-grain yet.
