Hi all,

I'm brand new to brewing! Never did it before but I want to get started. I'll be reading through the threads to get used to the lingo so don't mind my noobness.

If anyone can recommend any good readings (books, magazines, online articles, good forum threads) I would greatly appreciate it.

Have a great weekend!

Look up at the top, where the HomeBrewTalk logo is and click on the Home Brew Wiki... good place to start.

+1 to the Wiki. www.howtobrew.com is another brick in a solid foundation.

On a more interactive note, many people find that personal observation is the best method of learning. Luckily, there are about seven million homebrew stores in the greater Pittsburgh area, and just about as many homebrew clubs. See http://www.beertown.org/homebrewing/listings.asp and pick "PA" from the drop-down.

Welcome to a wonderfully rewarding obsessio...I mean, hobby! :D

Cheers,

Bob
