I live up in New Hampshire and if you didn't hear we had a lot of power outages around the state since Dec 11.
Long story short I lost power for 9 days. I had two batches of ale fermenting at the time. One that was on its 7th day and the other was on its 4th day fermenting.
I know the temp on them dropped into the low 50s/40s during the power outage, and had no way of keeping them warm. So I am guessing that I should be ok, the yeast looks like pick up were it left off now that it is warmed back up to 68/70... and the airlocks are moving.
So should these batches be ok? And what would the best way to tell when the fermentation is complete?
