Hot damn! I gots me a jet burner and a propane tank. Not only can I cook up some crawfish outside, but brew me a batch as well. It was a good Christmas:ban:

Nice. My turkey frier was an early present to myself... only did one brew with it before it got to cold to stand outside for an hour... so it's back to the stove until spring.

Congrats to you both!

I snagged the Camp Chef high output single burner last weekend from MoreBeer's Deal 'O the Day. UPS tracking shows it arrived in town at 6am today (Saturday) but is not scheduled for delivery until Monday! Oh the agony! Looks like I'll be brewing after work Monday and washing kettles at 1am. . .(note to boss, sorry in advance for sleeping at work next Tuesday.) :)

Congrats! Now go get yourself a spare tank or three, cause it really sucks to run out of gas mid-boil!!

Wuss. That is all.

stand close to the boil kettle.. it'll provide enough heat to keep you alive.. go out and brew. not like you HAVE to stand by the boiler for the entire hour. get past hot break.. make a hops addition.. go inside.. go out make any other additions.. and go back inside. just like when I grilled steaks in N. Dakota at -10F. or like when I was brewing today and temps when I started were 28F.. Hmmm it's 26F now.. with 5-7 inches of snow predicted.. am I still in Georgia?

That's a nice step up isn't it? I was going to do stovetop, but then I realize I'd likely crack my stovetop!

Haha yea my blood is too thin for northern PA weather... there are many times when I think I was supposed to be born in southern California around 1955.... I'm about 30 years too late for the fun!

Snow in Georgia? The south has been hit hard this winter I see... I guess I shouldn't complain up here..
