Being my 5-6th batch of beer I've brewed I've currently run into a stumper. After 24 hours of being in my primary fermenter I have not seen any bubbles coming from my airlock. Should I be worried that I now have a bad batch of beer and need to start over? or being that it is winter time, and my average house temp is anywhere from 65-70 it might take awhile for it to start fermenting. any help here would be great even if its just some words of wisdom. Thanks

what did you pitch for yeast ?

I thought about all these threads I read the other day when I pitched a big slurry of US-05 in 11.5 gallons of 1.064 wort at 65 F

it took all of 24 hours to get going and I pitched lots of yeast

but bubbles do not mean a whole lot

so I would say no worries

Dry, came in a LME kit that im trying for the first time. Never said anything about rehydrating and I triple checked just to make sure cuz I know some yeasts you have to. so if its a slow yeast I wont be to worried. if in 4-6 days things aren't where they should ill come back for more options. thanks brother.

take gravity reading, I have had some work out overnight, also check for a tight seal on lid. Brewed this morning, pitched an O5 room temp cake and had fermentation in 2.5 hours, but also have had to wait as much as 72hrs, GOOD LUCK

always good to rehydrate a dry yeast, I pitched rehydrated BRY-97 in an APA that was 1.052 it took at least 48 to get going

and took awhile finish but it did and made a good beer, but is not one of my go to dry yeasts

all the best and good luck
