Nope. Look at the gauges. How would you dial in say 35 psi?

Replace the low pressure gauge with one that tops out at 60 psi or so and you'd be in business.

Would I be able to take the psi guage off an old co2 regulator or are they different sizes?
 
Most regulator bodies are threaded for 1/4" NPT gauges, using Right Hand threading.
I'd say there's a really good chance your swap would work...

regs are all pretty much the same.

just different ranges on the gauges and different tank fittings. Just swap the fitting and gauge if needed.
