This thing rocks. $10, good size, easy to use, strong enough, aluminum... glad I picked it up.

Heheh the cooks on my boat use those. Standard commercial kitchen utensil. Very durable. Can drop kick those things and they keep on ticking.
 
If you've got a restasurant supply store close by, you can find one there as well. I got it for $8 I think. Exactly the same, I use it for vorlauf also, as well as getting water from my HLT into my mash tun.
 
i remember those from many years ago. saw them in the same place, RobBug. i think Columbus used them on his boats... you drop them, they don't care (nice for a brew day when you're killing time and a few beers)
