wondering if there is a good Newbie Kombucha for Dummies source folks can recommend?

ie) the Cider thread has a nice Cider for Beginners post with Tons of great info all in one spot.

Trying to find the basics in a single spot -- without having to search every thread for bits and pieces...

I'm very familiar with making cider/vino/beer and looking to expand in Kombucha now. :)

Thanks in Advance & Cheers!

I had bought a simple starter kit from amazon about a year ago. I believe the source was thekombuchashop.com. It came with ingredients for one gallon, the vessel, and the starter scoby, along with basic instructions. Outside of asking a few opinions and questions on this forum, the instructions were pretty basic and easy to follow. I think the only additional equipment I have had to really purchase was a funnel and some flip top bottles. Turned into a great way to use up our massive amounts of tea

The Big Book of Kombucha is an excellent source of info!

1st batch once summer & warmer temps arrive.

I also recommend the big book of kombucha. Our first batch is fermenting now. Can’t wait to see how it turns out!

The Big Book of Kombucha is the go to book for just about anything related to brewing Kombucha. I picked up my copy on Amazon (along with a Jun Scoby) and have a CB (Continuous Brew) that I making Jun with for the past few months. It takes you through the whole process, nuts to soup so to speak. Plus, the history and tons of recipes as well. Can't recommend it enough.
