Tried my first batch Saturday and I am thinking it is not turning out well.

I read, somewhere, a simple recipe is frozen apple concentrate and yeast (as in grocery store for bread type of yeast). I want to keep the first few batches simple.

I put this in the carboy Saturday night, expecting to see bubbles in the airlock Sunday or Monday night. Sunday morning (less than 12 hours later), I had bubbles, however, Sunday night, no more bubbles. I rush home today and still no bubbles

Did I do something wrong? Should I wait it out for the 2 weeks I was expecting it to take?

Any idea?

if the temperature was too hot, you would get a really fast ferment

bread yeast is not ideal for fermentation. don't know if you can get your hands on some brewers' yeast wherever you are, but you should try

Lavlin wine yeast. EC-1118, 71b-1122 & ICV-D47 are less than $1/packet and readily available on Amazon. I just got ten packs under $9 + FREE shipping.

love EC-1118 cider. trying other yeasts (Notty, S-04, WLP775) but keep coming back to 1118
