Hey all,

Just wanted to say hello from the Cleveland area, and thanks for the help so far. I'm enjoying my first brew right now after it's been in the bottle for 2 weeks (bit of an off taste with little to no head, but hoping that changes?!?!). I succeeded in my first batch though because I said I was going to make beer, and sure enough that's what I did! My second batch is in the secondary now and is an american pale ale. I'm really hoping things turn out good for that one. Well, just wanted to say hi, thanks for the help so far, and look forward to my questions to come.

Welcome to the forum, Joe. Don't just be a lurker, ask questions and post a lot.

Congratulations on your beer. I don't know if it'll get more head or not, but if it's only been bottled two weeks, I'm betting the taste will improve. Give it a few more weeks before you drink it all. Hold a few bottles back for two months and see how it does.
