Hey guys,

I just want to say hey to all you guys since I hope to be on this forum for quite a while and start brewing my own beer. I havent quite explored everything yet so bear with me if things have been repeated and such. I am also using the mobile app for Android so I will get the hang of this stuff lol.

I decided I wanted to brew my own beer a few months ago, but have been swamped with work and personal things. I am finally ready to get into gear and making some brew.

The question I have first of all, is where to start. Is there any suggestions you guys have that will help me get a good start?

I appreciate the help!

Thanks,

E

(P.s. posted this in another thread as well, didn't see this one lol sorry!!)

Buy How to Brew, a great start.

Read the forum stickies, lots of good tips.

Find a homebrew club and a great local homebrew shop, brewers are helpful and friendly people in general.

Welcome!

I would definitely agree to finding a shop, and a club. Lots of like minded people willing to share their experience and help you out.

Where in CO are you at?

I know High Hops is in Windsor . I Live in Greeley so I have been going to Juice of the Barley (at Crabtree). Jeff has really helped me get started.

Welcome! High Hops is a great place with a good loyalty program and helpful staff. I've also found Hops & Berries (2 locations in Fort Collins: 1 in Old Town and one off Harmony) to be very helpful and knowledgeable. Good luck!
