Hi all,
My name is James and I am new to the forum and to home brewing. I have been thinking about home brewing beer for awhile now and have just recently decided to pull the trigger and buy a kit. Tomorrow I am going to a local home brewer supply store (Stein Fillers) to get my first kit.

Over the last few months I have been reading and watching videos about home brewing. I use to make and keg my own root beer, but I think it is time to start making my own beer. I plan on this being a fun hobby and something I can do with my brother.

I haven't been there or found it when I was searching online, but now that I know its there I'll will be stopping by in the future.

I ended up going to Stein Fillers in Long Beach and bought a carboy kit. I was surprised to find they had very good prices compared to the online suppliers.

Making the first batch of California Gold a week from Friday. Should be fun.
