Hey all, I'm a new brewer living in SE Portland. I'm new to brewing but not drinking and loving beer! I'm a longtime fan of anything fermented (well I've never tried stinky tofu) and have been been planning on doing this for a while. I'm excitedly getting ready to brew my first batch this weekend (got all my grain this afternoon). I'm making an all grain brown porter with ginger and some other Chinese spices (gonna call it Chinatown Brown Porter if it turns out).

Anyway, love the site! I've been lurking for a little while and have gone through a ton of helpful threads. I am excited to learn from all of you with experience and hope I can bring something to the community too. Cheers!

Welcome to the site! It really is a plethora of information. To be honest I find more information here than googling it. (Even when I google it usually takes me here!)
