I have a Rye Ale that I do every year using Hallertau. I have 4 oz of New Zealand Hallertau that I plan on using.

Will I notice a big difference using the New Zealand? The recipe call for 2oz @ 60 and .75oz @ 15.

I am thinking of backing off the initial addition (maybe 1.5oz) due to the higher AA content.

Any thoughts?
 
According to the literature, the New Zealand version has some citrus notes that the German doesn't. Probably not a huge difference, but please post your results.
