Hello all,

Long time reader and subscriber, first post. I'm hoping you can help me out.

I'm putting together my first kegerator and going the keg route, and a friend gave me a new shiny tower which is like to use - however, the elbow shank connects to a long stainless line (about 16" long) ending in a 7/8" male threaded end. See the pics.

I bought a barbed tail and neoprene spacer, but it doesn't fit and I feel like I'm missing something. Any ideas? I want to connect to a 3/16" barb for my beer line! Help!

Thanks guys...View attachment ImageUploadedByHome Brew1420767393.911709.jpgView attachment ImageUploadedByHome Brew1420767409.078797.jpgView attachment ImageUploadedByHome Brew1420767424.588742.jpg

You need a 7/8" beer nut, a barbed tailpiece, and a rubber washer (which would look very similar to that black washer in your first pic) to go with it.

Hex nut
Tailpiece
Washer

Edit: Alternatively, you could use a tubing cutter and cut off the SST tube just above the 7/8 fitting, slide your beer line over the tube, and secure with a hose clamp.
