Long story short, I got a 2 tap kegerator yesterday as a gift from one of our Account Managers. I am now looking to get 2 kegs. I looked on craigslist and saw some for 25 bucks emailed the guy and he replied this

"All the kegs I have left are $25 each, firm. They have the pressure relief valves capped off....they can still be vented by depressing the gas input. They work just the same as any other kegs and hold good pressure. "

I have never kegged before and do not know much about it, would you guys see this as a problem or is it ok and a good deal. Also it is a danby mini fridge can remember the dimensions but there is about 2ft for the co2 tank, what size tank would this hold.

Thanks HBT

I know you can get 30 dollar referb kegs from many of the vendors so I'd pass these by as I'd like to have my pressure relief valve.

I have two kegs with no pressure relief. Been using them for years with no problems. I use the gas-in port to relive pressure.

Keg Connection shouldn't be too far from you. (Same state at least :D) They have some nice reconditioned kegs. I would personally pass on ones with a capped relief valve. I don't know why anyone would do that in the first place.
