I admit, this is odd. I have two corny kegs (ball lock) that I got with my setup. I order both liquid and gas disconnects from midwest supplies.
I noticed when I got ready to force carb, it was extremely hard to get the gas fitting to properly "seat" on the keg post. I remember trying the liquid one, and it snapped on fairly easily. I finally managed to get the gas one connected (though it was WAY too difficult). I want to test my CO2 levels in the beer, so I turn off the CO2, vent the pressure in the keg, then attempt to hook up the liquid disconnect. Low and behold, I am now having the same issue I had with the gas side on the liquid side. I cannot get it to lock on.
Is there a trick to this that I am missing? It can't be this difficult.
