New to brewing

Hello everyone. I am obviously new to brewing. I have completed one batch so far and I can honestly say it didn't suck. lol. I am looking for advice on building an mash tun. So if anyone has any info I am all ears. I am only going to be doing 5 gallon batches. Thanks in advance for any help

That's a great thread. To add to this, I made mine from a rectangular 52 quart cooler and added the spigot and braid as shown in the quoted thread. All in, I'd say less than $50 will get you there. I recommend a sparge cooler too though. A round igloo cooler should be fine or a spare pot with a spigot. It's not required though.

Welcome to the forums and the hobby. The thread Revvy pointed out is a great resource for your mashtun build. There are plenty of threads with different ways of accomplishing the same task...get familiar with the search bar at the top right of the forums...your beer will thank you for it
