Hi all. I live in NEPA. Ive been doing Mr. Beer brewing for a couple years now. I find it fun but I would like to get more into it and start kegging my own beer. I am in the process of building a Bar. I have all the materials to build it but I got a couple questions about that. How much over hang should there be from the base to the counter top, and how tall should it be? My bar plan is just for a simple oak bar with oak chair rail.

Any good website with kits to get me brewing and kegging. I am jumping from Mr. Beer. I look forward to learning alot on this forum. Thanks in advance

I've heard of alot of people using keg connection to get a lot of their kegging supplies. I believe they may still have a sale going on. Also check out the DIY forum, there are dozens of different bar builds and the majority have dimensions that they've used. Good luck and you should think about documenting your build and putting it in the DIY too :mug:

This has some really great deals on kegs, lines, disconnects, regulators, the whole nine yards.

Id recommend using the refurbished soda kegs unless you aren't too concerned about price. They work very well for home brew.

As for the brewing kits/equipment/ingredients I'd head to Northern Brewer. I've never been unhappy with anything they've sent me and they've got great prices and almost anything you'd ever need. Just my .02

Cheers and welcome! :mug:

Thanks guys. I can sit at this forum all day and read all the previous stuff...Its kind of overwhelming. I will definately document the bar build, I cant wait to start it. I already got a fridge, keg lines, tap tower. I Need co2 tank and actualy build and assemble everything. From my reading it sounds like a good bunch of people on here as well.
