Hey all, Thanks to everyone here, I would not have been able to start my first batch, if I had not found this site.

I purchased a Mr. Beer kit, and didn't even get it home, before I started to wonder if there was something more out there? I ran right to my local home brew store and purchased a Brewcraft home brewerey kit.

So far, I think ok. The Irish stout has a SG of 1022 after three days, and the Mr. Beer kit is pretty much self contained, so no SG on it.

This site has answered so many questions allready, thanks again. I can't wait to get to the point of trying out all those recipes that everyone has. (like a kid in a candy store)

Kinda nice to see all the folks from the Portland area. That Rocks.
