Hey all.
Just got into the hobby after my buddy showed me his brew set up and how many clone recipes there are.
Anyways, started with a English Brown Ale kit last Sunday and should be bottling next week.
Got a Honey Rye ale kit today and plan to brew Sunday night. Have been looking into maybe getting dried or extracted fruit to add into WORT.
Our equipment includes:
10 Gallon Stainless Steel Brew pot.
10 Gallon Stainless Steel Mash tun with mount Thermometer, false bottom and Bazooka mesh.
6 Gallon Glass Carboy.
2 6 gallon plastic buckets with spigot.
4 Airlocks with bungs.
Bottle of Whirfloc Tabs.
10 inch funnel with anti splash and filter.
Hydrometer.
Thermometer.
Copper Wort chiller.
Bottle capper.
Next thing we are looking into is a grain/barley miller and experiment with different strains.
Been reading Palmers book along with the Joy of HB to further understand the art of the home brew.
Cheers,
Rob & Chris
