Hi guys and girls, I've been reading these threads for a few months now, and I've nicked one or two recipes!
I've been brewing and winemaking for about two months now, I started with a chocolate maple porter kit from Brooklyn Brew Shop (I made bottle bombs, waaaaaay too much maple syrup when carbonating! Consider that lesson well and truly learned!)
I've also currently got a Cabernet Sauvignon on the go, I've nicknamed it Chateau Meths. I've got a traditional Welsh Meddeglyn on the go, as well as Rosehip Hooray (I spent an entire afternoon picking rosehips over the lake, strongly recommended!), Viking's Blood Melomel and I've just now made a lazy man's cider from convenience store apple and pineapple juice, with a hint of lime juice. I know that's going to be ridiculously dry, so I'll siphon half off into another demijohn in two weeks and top up with more juice.
