Good morning. I have brewed lots of wine from kits over the years but am starting to brew from fresh fruit and later this year will look at trying beer. I have a batch of wine started (last night) from apples from my property.

I ran a bunch of apples through a juicer, (tossed the juice and the pulp in a 5 gallon bucket) added water and sugar.. and boiled it to kill the wild yeast. after it cooled down to lukewarm I added yeast and now it sits.... starting weight is 1.080.

glad to be here and hope to learn lots from more experienced folks
