Hey all. My names Sam. I'm from the town of Prince George up in the plateaus of the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia. I just recently have been getting into the realm of beer nerds (other than my friends) so I figured Id post a little about myself and maybe I can get to know a few of you as well.
I work at a "brew on premise" type of brewery. We do lots of interesting custom beers as well as have our own list of beers that people can brew or that we can brew a wort for. Not to mention all the crazy things we employees like to create. I've only been brewing beer at my place of employment for about a year or so now but only started working at the brewery during the past couple months. I believe beer is and has been a very important thing to human civilization and shouldn't be made with any preservatives, pasteurization, or anything that isn't 100% natural.
As for tastes, I prefer IPA's over anything else. Something well hopped. Nice and carmel coloured. With a bit of spice. I also enjoy ciders, mead, some whites, and very few reds.
I partake in gardening and playing music with my band and friends during my sparetime.
