Hi. Found this place when I stumbled into the great DIY hood vent thread below. I have been visiting many local breweries (40+) until I went to a home brew party at the local brewery supply store. There I tried several home brew beers and got hooked! Suddenly I got into a "build my home brewery" winter project and now I'm ready to brew my first batch. I'm sure I'll find a lot of info and hopefully some friends here. I have been a member of many forums (fishing and cars) so I know forum people are the best. Thanks ;-)

Cool! Thanks all. I live in Canton (30min west of Detroit). I relocated here from FL about two years ago. Always liked beer but never had it as good as the craft ones from here. My brother lives in Norway and in winter he makes beer. Now I am with him but I plan to brew all year long. I need to figure out how to post pics so I can share my little brew corner ;-)

Welcome! And those car forums have saved me having to haul my car to the mechanic a few times!

Everyone 'besides' me here should be able to help you make great beer! (all i can do is help you make sure it has alcohol in it!) :mug:

You're close to my favorite (local) brewery, Supernatural. I help out from time to time, but I mostly drink there. [emoji1787][emoji482]

Funny that that one was the last I visited about a month ago. My favorite big one is Wolverine at Ann Arbor. Favorite small one is 734 at Ypsilanti. Only one I have membership :-D
