Driving from the Pomona Fairgrounds a few months ago, I saw a banner advertising the Vanguard Home Brew Store in La Verne. One quick U-turn and I started my tepid excursion into brewing. I watched a couple of batches on weekends and finally took the plunge last weekend with owner/operator Sean as my guide.
Sean is going to be good enough to beer sit for me while I'm out of state, and when I return I'll give it another whirl. I found the process interesting, the company wonderful and if I'm lucky my brew will taste as good as what Sean had on tap!
