I live just outside of Charlotte, and I'll be brewing my first batch within a few weeks!

A co-worker invited me to his house a few weeks ago to try out his Sierra Nevada clone, and it was tremendous. Two weeks later a local beer store went out of business, and their homebrew equipment was 50% off. I bought a brewing kit and three recipe kits, and I'm already checking out instructions to convert my chest freezer to a keezer!

I've already learned a lot by browsing the forum, and I look forward to learning more!

Welcome from neighboring SC. I go to a brew supply warehouse in Belmont near the airport in CLT to stock my supplies like 50# grain bags. Enjoy brewing as this is a most intriguing and rewarding hobby...or passion in most cases!
