I first visited this site a couple of days ago. There's a lot of good stuff on here! I like the casual atmosphere and the information available. I've stumbled through four batches from extract so far: a pale ale, a porter, an IPA, and a pilsner. They keep getting better as I go. Guess beer has a way of doing that. I'd like to get to the point where I'm brewing from grains. Right now, I'm using extracts and adding to them. Kind of like baking a cake mix and adding more sugar or some nuts. I'm looking forward to learning from and along with the rest of the class.
