To do a true closed transfer you should have purged the keg of o2.

First fill keg to the top with starsan and purge small head space with Co2.

Then push out starsan with Co2 to fill keg with Co2. Keep liquid out line from keg submerged as temp airlock while pushing out starsan.

With some Co2 pressure in the keg (5 to 10 psi) connect the Co2 in on the keg to the Co2 in on the fermentor and then quickly connect the liquid out of fermentor to liquid out on keg and beer should flow due to gravity and pressure will equalize due to closed circuit (closed transfer).
