Decided to sign up for this site, Mr. Beer got me excited about brewing. Hopefully my first batch from it is good!

Welcome to the forum. Don't get discouraged if your first, second, of maybe even third batch are not drinkable or not as good as you hope.

Hey I am pretty new to the brewing game as well. I tried Mr. Beer kits with ok results. Since then I have moved onto 5 gallon partial grain batches. The results have been much better, but the Mr. Beer kit will give you a good idea of what it takes to brew. Good luck!!
