Hi all! Just wanted to stop in, make my first post, and introduce myself. I'm new to the home brewing community, but I've been lurking on these forums (and interwebs) for a while gathering all the information I can handle!

Just completed my first brew over the weekend from a Northern Brewer extract kit (Chinook IPA) - full boil in my 11 gallon kettle. Went pretty well, only needed to top off 1/4 gallon, active fermentation the next day, and now I can't wait to do the next batch! I do believe I'll be constructing a wort chiller before the next brew though. I'll stick to extract kits for a couple more brews, then make the switch to all grain, which to me seems like that's where the real fun is.

Looking forward to lurking (and hopefully contributing) more in the future. :mug:

Welcome to the hobby, and the group, from CO :mug:

I would highly recommend looking into BIAB, I just ordered a new one from wilserbrewer. But an immersion chiller is an important early piece of equipment.
