New guy from Chicago

Hi everyone. My eyes were open to craft beers a couple years ago and have been enjoying them ever since, but am getting tired of paying $10+ for a 6 pack. So I've been looking into home brewing and have found myself obsesed with researching how to get started. My wife is already getting annoyed! This site has been exteremly helpful and and I'm very glad there is so much support out there. I'm hoping to get my first kit within the next month.
