Registered on the forum the end of august but haven't got around to really checking out the site. Had a chance tonight to update my profile and get a post in here.

So I would say i am fairly new to the home brewing, as i have only made 3 batches and were on Mr. beer which barely counts.... I am though reading up on the whole process and have bought a couple books and signed up for a membership to BYO.

I am planing on getting a setup next month (i usually hit a nice payday from Christmas) so any ideas to cut costs will be welcome. Ive received two catalogs, Northern brew and Williams brewing, so i have been looking through checking prices and such to get an idea. Thanks and i look forward to checking the site more often now.

Welcome! Save $$ by getting a starter kit that gives you everything you need to start. Also; buckets will be cheaper than carboys. Cheers!
