Hello all. Been reading the forums for a while and have taken a lot of great information on brewing and equipment, I figured it was time I actually started posting so hoowah here it goes.

I'm a Network/Unix engineer by trade, and have done a whole lot of other things over the years in a lot of other places.

Former extract brewer from 91-95ish. I got into kegging and then slowly over several years and several moves (including a stint living in a van) my equipment was lost, borrowed, or given away.
Almost three years ago, my wife and I moved back to NY. We slowly fell in with a beer drinking/brewing crowd (Though most would just call us drunks), and I had been considering brewing myself. Well, last year the wife bought me a starter kit for Christmas and I've slowly been working my way back into it. She also got me a kegging set-up for Christmas this year so I have a bit of work to do in that arena as well.

My brother-in-law got me a brewing setup for Christmas, I'm in Rochester as well. Where have you gone for supplies? Beers of the World has a pretty good selection
