New From Phoenix

Hi,
My name's Marc from the Phoenix Arizona area. I've been a beer drinker for 40+ years, however my appreciation for "good" beer has only developed within the last 5 or 6 years. I've never brewed my own beer and until recently never had much desire to. I've known too many people who thought it would be fun to brew beer, spent a bunch of money on equipment, brewed on batch of undrinkable liquid fertilizer, and never tried it again. I don't like to get into anything half assed; if I'm going to put the time, effort and money into it then I want at least a decent foundational understanding of what I'm doing before I get started. So I'm still in the collecting and processing information part of this adventure.

Welcome to the obsession! If you need any help I am just down the road from you a bit in the rival city of Tucson. I build brew stuff for people on the side. Stands, kettle ports, whatever you need. Shoot me a PM.

In the mean time look for the next club meeting in your area. It is a great way to network and find other brewers than can help you out in your journey.
