Hey ya'll,

so i am sick of this crappy weak utah beer and expensive prices at the liquor store, so i have decided to brew some of my own. most interested in some Mead and some honey wheat brews.

Welcome. Spend sometime reading through the forums and searching. The amount of information contained on this site is impressive. I'm certain you'll enjoy the hobby!

You will save some money, but more than that, the value is in drinking a top shelf product at more of a bottom shelf price.

You will love it! Welcome.

i will definetly check that book out...

is there a glossary on here or something showing what all of the commonly used terms are? i keep seeing them, and not being 100% familiar it would be helpful. like the initials and abbreviations and what not

2. Home brew talk is a great wealth of information. It is like its bigger, faster, and stronger then any other brewing refrences i have run across. I suggest you stick around a while.

i will i am sure of it... when i get into a hobby i get a little obsessive and usually go way over board...

btw thanks for all the welcomes, it's good to see that i can post this early in the morning and get some good answers.
