Hello all, hopefully I'm doing this right. This site is kinda confusing. First time posting for this new.
I have brewed Brewers Best Imperial Blonde Ale and Midwest Supplies Iris Red Ale. Both beers turned out pretty good! I just ordered the Strawberry Blonde Ale from American Brewmaster in North Carolina. Anyone brewed this? I'm thinking about adding a pound of honey to the boil. Anyone have something to say about this? I'm sure the Rev will weigh in on this.

Most will reccomend that you work on process before you start experimenting with your recipes. Adding honey will dry it out a bit and add flavor. I do not see anything wrong with adding a lb of honey though.

Go with 1/2 lb. I wouldn't tamper with it too much...

yeah,a blonde ale is gunna be light anyway,& a pound of honey will lighten or dry out the flavor more.
