Trying my first time at home brewing. I tried an extract kit that I received as a gift. Prepare the kit last night and I put the liquid in a 6 1/2 gallon bottle
Pitch the yeast at a temp of 74F. The roon tempurature is between 61F-64F.
12hrs later it started fermenting:ban::ban::ban:.

I hope I learn alot from this forum. I even built a wort cooler using 25 ft of 3/8 copper tubing from lowes. I use a small DC powered pump to circulate cold ice water from a bucket.

Wow, you are already ahead of the game using a wort chiller. Welcome, you will learn a lot from these forums.

The tubing from lowes was $17.50 less 20% discount card. Had a water pump that I bought for $10 from Princess Auto. 3/8 plastic tubing cost $3.00
My built cost was less than $30. I used a 10V 800ma Dc adaptor that I got for free:)
