New Brewer in SLO

Hello! My name is Jim and I currently live on California's Central Coast. I have my first brew fermenting right now, it's an Amber Ale from Doc's Cellar (my local home brew store). I can say with confidence that it will not be my last batch, and I have already wasted far too much time on this site. Thanks in advance for answering the questions I'm sure to have, I'm already having trouble just picking my next recipe!

Thanks for the welcome! Fat, where do you get your supplies? I live about 2 seconds from Doc's Cellar, but they close at 5 so it's hard to get in there sometimes.

well...I was using austin home brewer but recent events have me on hold with dealing with them.I need to get some things too,maybe I'll take a trip over to docs on saturday.

Thanks, it sounds like I'll just have to do a better job of planning out what I need before I brew. I can't recommend Doc's enough if you've never been there, my only complaint is that I can usually only get in there on saturdays.
