New brewer in central TX

I am 23 and from Waco, Tx and last month I purchased a deluxe homebrew kit from Austin Homebrew Supply, and just turned out my first batch (a coffee stout). I have also been looking for a brew club/guild in the central Texas area but the closest seem to be either in dallas or the Austin/Round Rock are.
