New brewer from Kitchener, Ontario

I started brewing in late December and now I have six carboys going in the basement. Soon enough I'll have to bottle, so if there is anyone out there living in the region who knows of any places to pick up reasonably priced bottles let me know.

Good to see some more Ontario presence on here. I am in Sarnia. I have bought most of my bottles from Danny's in London. Bit of a hike for you, but if you call ahead it would be worth it.

Here in New York there is a deposit law... so there are places to take your bottlesm to get your nickle back. Those places are for the most part willing to give you the bottles if your give them the nickle. I bought two cases new... and a buddy of mine set me straight on that....

In Ontario we pay deposits of 10 cents per beer bottle and a little more for wine bottles. Odds are up here there is some law against selling or giving used bottles to people, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.

In Ontario they just throw the bottles and cans in the trash and ship it to Michigan for our landfills. Edit: it has been 7 years since I spent a few months in Kitchener, I guess the law has changed and now they have a deposit.... Congratulations Ontario. Everytime I crossed the border I had to put up with all the trash trucks bringing in the waste. A deposit law will definitely help.
