We have a pub as in you OWN a pub?, I only ask because I wonder, can you brew your own beer and sell it on premises? What kind of alcohol laws do they have there? And, of course, welcome to the best home brewing website anywhere.

Well, Northern Brewer & Midwest supplies are two big ones pretty close to each other in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Big retail locations that are also online. They're two of the biggest.

Sounds good , do they have lots of craft pubs?

Soo many beers soo little time .. man i might have to come longer hehe . wats the avg price of a craft beer in te states ?

A 4-pack of really good beer will run you about $10USD-$12USD in New York state. That would be for a good DIPA,IIPA, or a RIS.

An mid-range 6-pack is about the same.

A 22oz bomber is $5USD-$10USD.

Generally, the more alcohol, the higher the price.

There are hipsters in SA? I thought that was a US phenomenon. Do they wear tiny hats , skinny jeans, and scarves during the Summer? :D

question round no 2 carbing and bottling

im moving to 50 L batches monday and im also getting a plate filter . we do not want to move to kegging how ever i do not mind setting up a keg to carbonate then bottle . Its either that or re pitch yeast and prime . The Goal is consistency here and my biggest fear is over or under carbonation ofc . Keg carbing has had some gushing results aswell but i feal it might be more reliable. otherside if herd of adding a bit of slurry after filter that works great , but im struggleing finding solid ifo on number and date . pls assist o great gurus

Great info thnx . It doesnt seem the norm to co2 carb in a keg and then bottle.

Wow! Nice lookin' rig! You could run a micro with that. And you can use a beer gun to bottle carbed beer from a keg. Search it on here.
