I am a big fan of all types I love stouts, ipa, cream ales, anything and I'm a new brewer and haven't moved to all grain yet so does anyone have a simple recipe using a lme and something. Little more simple so I don't have to sparge etc etc

I think I wanna make a red or oatmeal stout or something I don't care just something with a little more complex of a flavor.

Simple IPA recipe

8 lb light, extra light or pale LME. (add at least half late, @ 15 mins)
.75 lb crystal 40 or 60 lovibond
.25 lb biscuit or victory malt
Steep grains for 20-30 mins at 152*, rinse with 2 qt water @ 170*

1.5-2 oz centennial or Amarillo @ 60 min
1oz centennial or Amarillo @ 15
" @ 10
" @ 5
" @ 0
Wyeast 1056, 1272, or white labs equivalent. 1-1.5L starter

Dry hop with same hop, 1-2oz for 7 days

I've done this with centennial and Amarillo. I've used either the single hop or cascade to dry hop. Makes a great apa/IPA IMO.
